The Department of Commerce at St. Teresa Degree College for Women organized a special training programme titled “Classroom to Corporate” from 23rd to 27th February 2026. The programme was conducted under the initiative of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) in association with the Placement Cell.

The event was inaugurated on 23rd February 2026 at 11:30 AM in the Seminar Hall. The Chief Guest, Sr. Vimala Rosy, Manager of St. Teresa’s Educational Institution, addressed the students and emphasized the importance of professional skills, corporate discipline, and career readiness.

The objective of the programme was to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and corporate expectations. Through a series of interactive sessions, students were introduced to essential topics such as professional communication, workplace etiquette, teamwork, leadership skills, and corporate culture.

The programme was coordinated by Mr. Rajesh B, Head of the Department of Commerce & Academic Coordinator, with the support of Mrs. Mallika B, Vice Principal & IQAC Director, under the guidance of Dr. Sr. Prema, Principal.

The Classroom to Corporate Programme provided valuable insights and practical exposure for students, helping them prepare confidently for future career opportunities in the corporate world.
