Infrastructure

St. Teresa’s Degree College for Women has an excellent infrastructure and accessibility from various part of the city. The college is situated in a prime location with easy access to transportation by being very close to city market, majestic bus stops and metro station which is about just half a kilometer.

The campus is lush green with lawns, trees, pleasant landscaping interspersed with different blocks of stones and concrete structures. Main building, which houses a Principal’s office, Administrative office, Central Instrumental facility, Seminar and Conference hall, Computer lab, Commerce and Arts departments classrooms, Staffroom, well-furnished Library, Parking area  for vehicles, Canteen , etc…The Annexure building has a few classrooms.

The college is providing more than 15/20 classrooms with good and fresh air circulation, through which students achieve a conducive environment for the learning process

The house staff is employed to meticulously maintain hygiene, cleanliness and infrastructure on the campus so as to provide a congenial learning environment.  Classrooms, staffrooms, seminar halls and laboratories, etc., are cleaned and maintained regularly, wash-rooms and rest-rooms are well maintained. Dustbins are placed in every floor. The green cover of the campus is well maintained. The campus maintenance is monitored through surveillance cameras.

AV ROOM

The right combination of technology delivers great learning and teaching experience for students and teaching staff. The college has Audio –Visual (AV rooms) equipped with the latest Audio- Visual aids. The AV rooms are of varied seating capacity.

CAFETERIA

The college cafeteria has a charming ambience and spacious area that provides a wide range of vegetarian hygienic food.

HOSTEL

St. Teresa’s Educational Institution offers excellent accommodation facilities that enable students coming from outside and inside Bangalore to study and live with comfort. The hostel blocks can accommodate over 200 female students.

Resident students can take advantage of numerous facilities and services including banking with ATM, Medical facility, study room and much more.

CHAPEL

The shrine empowers staff and students with spiritual invocation and serves as a chapel.

  HOSPITAL

The college hospital under the care of qualified nurses provides medical aids to students as and when required. A qualified Doctor is on call and visits the hospital.
