History of the College
St. Teresa’s Educational Institution is managed by the sisters of “Salesian Missionaries of Mary Immaculate (SMMI)” under “The Mary Salian Society” located at St. Mary’s Convent, Chamarajpet, Bangalore – 560018, registered in the year 1965. It currently manages over many educational programs in Karnataka and neighbouring Andhra Pradesh. St. Teresa College is the recent addition to St. Teresa’s campus in Chamarajpet, Bengaluru.

Founder of St. Teresa’s Degree College for Women
St. Teresa’s Degree College for Women, Chamarajpet, Bangalore-18 was established in 2014 with B.com and B.A stream. It is affiliated to Bangalore University. The main aim of founding this college is to give qualitative education to the women and the poor.
After the Trifurcation of Bangalore University in the year 2018, the college is now affiliated to Bengaluru City University.

St. Teresa’s College is located on Sultan Road, Near to St. Joseph’s Church, Briand square, Chamarajpet, Bengaluru. It is about a kilometer from Krishnarajendra Market (K. R. Market).
In St. Teresa’s Campus other than educational institutes we have – St. Mary’s Convent – Chapel, St. Mary’s Children’s Home “ Maria Nilaya”- Boarding for poor children, St. Mary’s Hostel for Women and Girls – Hostel to ensure convenient lodging, TCM Royan Hospital with hygiene and friendly atmosphere.
